When starting out, I always recommend weekly sessions. During a consultation, we will choose a consistent day and time that works for us both. I will reserve this time for our session each week.

Over time, we may determine that less frequent sessions are more appropriate and can discuss this together.

I see clients Tuesday - Friday.

I am in-person in San Francisco on Tuesdays, and in Oakland on Wednesdays. Thursdays and Fridays I offer virtual sessions.

Yes. Research has consistently shown virtual therapy to be just as effective as in-person therapy for treatment of mental health issues. It also increases access by reducing logistical barriers and allowing more consistent attendance. That said, there are also benefits to being together in the same room and having a therapeutic environment separate from your work or home. I invite you to discuss these factors and we can determine the best format for your needs during a consultation call.

When possible, yes. Because of my scheduling needs, I cannot guarantee clients that consistent hybrid options will be available.

Some decide that virtual sessions work best weekly, but would like to come in-person on occasion. In these cases, I will offer alternative times as they become open and you are welcome to reschedule when desired.

Sadly no. Both office are street parking only. I recommend allowing a bit of extra time to locate parking in the area, as it can be busy.

SF Union Street has a paid parking garage across the street by the Blue Whale restaurant. Howe Street generally has easy nearby free street parking.

Yes. My Oakland office is a 17-minute walk from MacArthur Bart.

My San Francisco Office is located along several MUNI lines including the 45, 22, 30.
